Globalization is indeed developing a society. It improves the quality of life and brings a better living to most people in the globe. In that way, people tend to be modern, giving so much comfortability to most numbers, unlike the past where people have to strive hard just to survive.

The Philippines is one of the developing countries in Asia who has been affected by this so-called globalization and the government of the Philippines believed that globalization is the solution to the country’s slow development and endless poverty.

But in reality, We have lost the track in terms of economy. We have not maximized our resources. The support given by the government was insufficient and rampant corruptions have made the Philippines remained to its level.

In result, we are more of importing goods than exporting that is why local industries fail to be competitive in their own country because foreign are investing here. Local industries tend to make their price as low as possible to earn but it is killing them. It’s hard to earn money but the prices today give a heart attack. Social health is not even a priority, mainly because public hospitals cannot accommodate patients well, and are not advanced in technology. As the year passes by, the traffic has been aggravating. The infrastructure hasn’t even changed for decades.

Other countries embraced globalization for a competitive edge against more developed nations. There is a big evidence in the movement of wealth but here in the Philippines, people are deprived of greater opportunity and living.

Lack of good government. Imbalance in the distribution of wealth and power.  Negligence for Infrastructure. Countless countrymen migrating. Missing quality in Education. 346f03b6-c234-4f40-8dfe-bdd95b0fd4da

The Philippines is still a developing country after all.
